LAWRENCE ROBB’S STRICTLY EXIT SPARKS FRESH CONTROVERSY AS DANCE PROFESSIONAL CLAIMS HE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!

Lawrence Robb’s dramatic departure from Strictly Come Dancing has sparked a fresh debate after former professional James Jordan delivered a brutally honest verdict on the Emmerdale actor’s final performance — while suggesting his dance partner Jowita Przystal had been placed at a serious disadvantage.

The Scottish actor’s Strictly journey came to a disappointing end following an unprecedented triple dance-off that saw him competing against fellow celebrities Bethany Antonia and Jaime Winstone.

Robb and Jowita had performed a Tango to the Ghostbusters theme tune during the Halloween-themed show, hoping their energetic routine would be enough to secure another week in the competition.

However, a costly mistake during the performance ultimately proved disastrous, with all the judges choosing to eliminate the couple.

Now, former Strictly professional James Jordan has weighed in on the controversial result, insisting the judges made the correct decision while raising uncomfortable questions about the music selected for Robb and Jowita.

JAMES JORDAN DELIVERS BRUTAL VERDICT ON LAWRENCE’S FINAL DANCE

Speaking to Glasgow Live through his WhichBingo Strictly commentary, Jordan made it clear that Robb’s mistake had significantly damaged his chances of survival.

“Lawrence made a big mistake, and even if he hadn’t made the mistake and danced it right, it would have been a toss-up between him and Bethany going,” he explained.

Jordan also insisted that Jaime Winstone had been comfortably ahead of her fellow competitors.

“There was no way Jaime was going to go. She was clearly the best out of those three.”

But his most striking criticism was directed not at Robb himself, but at the circumstances surrounding his partnership with Jowita.

Jordan suggested the professional dancer had been handed a particularly difficult challenge compared with other couples.

“I also think Jowita was a bit stitched up. Everyone else has got brilliant dramatic songs, and she gets Ghostbusters, so what was the poor girl supposed to do? It was always going to be cringe.”

His comments have introduced another dimension to the elimination debate: whether the couple’s unusual musical assignment made it harder to deliver the dramatic impact expected from a Tango.

WAS JOWITA PRZYSTAL GIVEN AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK?

For professional dancers, selecting choreography that complements both the music and their celebrity partner’s abilities can be crucial.

The Tango traditionally relies on sharp movements, dramatic tension and a commanding atmosphere.

Performing those elements to a novelty film theme presents a distinctive creative challenge.

Although Jordan supported the judges’ decision, his criticism suggested Jowita had been forced to work with material that was less naturally suited to the dance.

That distinction matters. Robb’s visible mistake was one factor in the elimination, but Jordan’s comments raised a separate question about whether the couple had been given the strongest opportunity to impress.

There has been no evidence that the song choice was intended to disadvantage either contestant.

JAIME WINSTONE’S INJURY ADDS ANOTHER UNEXPECTED TWIST

The drama surrounding the triple dance-off has continued beyond Robb’s departure.

Jaime Winstone, whom Jordan identified as the strongest performer among the three celebrities, has confirmed she will miss the next live show after suffering a torn abdominal muscle.

Announcing the setback on Instagram, the actress revealed that she was experiencing considerable pain and had been advised by doctors to rest completely.

“I am absolutely devastated not to be dancing this weekend due to a torn abdominal muscle,” she wrote.

Despite her disappointment, Winstone stressed that protecting her health must take priority and expressed hope that she could return to performing alongside professional partner Carlos Gu.

Her announcement prompted supportive messages from fellow celebrities and Strictly personalities.

Delta Goodrem sent encouragement, telling Jaime to rest and recover, while Dani Dyer offered her affection.

Head judge Shirley Ballas also wished Winstone a speedy recovery, emphasising that health must come first.

STRICTLY FACES MORE QUESTIONS AFTER A DRAMATIC WEEK

With Robb eliminated, Jordan questioning the suitability of his routine, and Winstone temporarily sidelined by injury, Strictly has endured another eventful chapter.

The unprecedented triple dance-off was already a significant departure from the programme’s familiar elimination format.

Jordan’s assessment has now placed fresh attention on the balance between celebrity performance, professional choreography and the creative choices shaping each routine.

For Lawrence Robb, the competition is over. But the debate surrounding his final Tango may continue long after his departure — particularly after a former professional suggested that the difficulty began before he even stepped onto the dance floor.
