Caroline Coughlin is competing on “Jeopardy!” airing Monday, April 20 and she has a daunting opponent: Jamie Ding, a Lawrenceville, NJ resident, who has won 26 games in a row, ranking 5th all time. Ding has won $732,000, ranking 6th all time. His 26-game winning streak is a record for New Jersey residents.
A foodie, Ding and his sister run an Instagram account devoted to General Tso’s chicken.
Ding graduated Princeton University in 2013 with a degree in molecular biology and later worked for the City of Jersey City, according to his Linkedin. Since 2021, he has worked at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency
Gov. Mikie Sherrill is among the many Garden Staters cheering Ding on.
According to her Linkedin, Coughlin is a senior quantitative researcher, State Street PriceStats and graduated from Northeastern University.
Coughlin will likely need to know this Final Jeopardy clue if she wants to end the streak. Jeopardy airs at 7:30 p.m. on WBZ in Boston and at 7 p.m. in local ABC stations throughout New Jersey.
