Sam Heughan’s old romantic comedy, which struggled at the box office, has found a massive second life as a hit on Netflix. The Outlander star’s film is now reaching a wide audience on the streaming platform, proving its popularity despite a disappointing theatrical run.

Love Again sees Priyanka Chopra in the role of Mira Ray, who sends a series of romantic texts to her late fiancé’s mobile.
Unbeknown to her, the number was reassigned to the work phone of journalist Rob Burns (Heughan). Captivated by Mira’s confessional, he enlists the help of singing sensation Celine Dion in figuring out how to win this mystery woman’s heart.
Praising the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer’s acting debut, Heughan exclusively told Digital Spy earlier this year: “Isn’t she wonderful? She’s just such an incredible person.
“I think she should have been in a movie, but I’m glad she saved herself for us and she’s created five new original tracks for us.
“[She’s] funny as well, which is really not surprising, because she’s such a professional, but she’s so good. She has her own personal, incredible love story and I think she’s just the perfect fit for this.
“She’s such a down-to-earth person and I think she comes across that way.”
Heughan can also be seen later this year in Channel 4’s psychological drama The Couple Next Door, as well as the second part of Outlander season 7.
